Auteuil, located in the northeast part of Laval, is the typical suburban neighbourhood where its residents will find security, tranquillity and charming properties.

Its residential landscape consists primarily of single-family homes, to which are added small apartment buildings and a section of agricultural land.

The four primary schools and two secondary schools, complemented by 20 green spaces, are greatly appreciated by families in the neighbourhood.

Among Auteuil’s special interests are the wooded areas along the banks of the Rivière des Mille-Îles, known as Plage Idéale and Plage Jacques-Cartier. For a completely different kind of green space, there is the Saint-François golf course.

The majority of Auteuil’s commercial activities take place on Boulevard des Laurentides, which crosses Île de Laval from north to south. Papineau Avenue is also important since it joins highways 19 and 640, which makes travel between Montreal and the North Shore very accessible.
